Jaime Mendoza joins Rainwater Elementary School as the proud principal, bringing more than a decade of experience in public education. Throughout his career, he has served as an elementary teacher, middle school assistant principal, and elementary assistant principal, building a strong foundation in instructional leadership, school operations, and student achievement.

Originally from San Luis Potosí, Mexico, Mendoza earned both his bachelor's degree and master's degree in educational leadership and policy studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is passionate about fostering a positive school culture, supporting educators, and ensuring every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.

Mendoza is excited to join the Rainwater Elementary family and looks forward to partnering with students, staff, families and the community to build on the school's tradition of excellence.
