Rainwater Elementary Wraps Up Apex Fundraiser with Glow Run

Rainwater Elementary wrapped up its two-week Apex school fundraiser with an exciting Glow Run, bringing students together to celebrate their hard work and dedication. Led by the Apex Leadership Co., the fitness-based program combined daily physical activity with character-building and leadership lessons. Each day, on-site youth coaches visited Rainwater to work with students and teach important character traits such as gratitude, grit, and teamwork. Through engaging lessons and activities, students were encouraged to build confidence, persevere through challenges, and support one another.

The celebration was made even more memorable by Principal Jaime Mendoza and Assistant Principal Megan Britton, who dressed up and joined the fun to cheer students on as they completed the Glow Run. Their enthusiasm helped create an energetic atmosphere as students celebrated the culmination of the program. The event was a bright finish to two weeks of learning, movement, leadership, and school spirit at Rainwater Elementary.
