Rainwater Elementary STEM Academy is dedicated to providing our students with the highest quality education that engages and challenges students to develop a set of critical thinking, reasoning, and creative skills that grow through research and collaboration.

We offer several extracurricular clubs for our students including but not limited to iBot Robotics, Dance and Art Clubs, Fun and Fitness, Girls Who Code and so much more. Our clubs offer students the opportunity to engage, make friends, and learn after school in a fun way.

We also focus on educating the whole child. At Rainwater, we truly care about all our students and are dedicated to meeting individual needs. Our highly-qualified staff works to educate our Rainwater Rockets to be high-achieving students, lifelong learners, and excellent citizens.

If you are a new student and live in the attendance zone, you can move forward by completing online registration and follow the steps for online enrollment.

Students may enroll for the current school year or can begin online registration for the new school year on April 1.
If you do not live in the attendance zone, you can apply now.

About Our PTA

Rainwater Elementary PTA has been awarded several membership honors, including in 2019-Early Bird Achievement, Fall Increase, Head Start, 3 Year High and Shining Star. In 2020 Rainwater PTA received the Golden Apple, Mars Involvement, Generations Involvement and School of Excellence awards. School Recognitions

Rainwater Elementary has received a number of campus, faculty and student recognitions. The 2019 Texas Academic Performance Report lists several Distinction Designations for Rainwater, including Academic Achievement in ELA/Reading, Top 25 Percent in Comparative Academic Growth, Top 25 Percent in Comparative Closing the Gaps, and Postsecondary Readiness. Rainwater was also named a 2020 PTA School of Excellence. Fourth grade teacher Mrs. Marsh was named first runner up in the 2020 District Teacher of the Year Award. Our students received numerous medals at the 2020 District Academic Olympiad, and one student received the grand prize Overall at the Elementary Regional Science Fair and 1^st place for Engineering in 3^rd Grade.

Why Choose Rainwater?

Rainwater is such a creative and imaginative place! The students and teachers have so many opportunities to try and experience new things. I love being able to see the fantastic ways kids can explore in a STEM environment.

Coming to Rainwater is the best, for so many reasons. The staff is great! They care about us and what we learn. Specials classes are wonderful. In STEM we do a lot of engineering, in art we make sculptures, in P.E. we play games and in music we do awesome performances. Rocket Rally is the best part!
